I haven't written here in a really long time! I've just been super busy trying to make outfits of the days and enjoying my time off from school! I'm going to try to update this more often. If you haven't subscribed to me on YouTube and you'd like to please do at:

I make lots of Outfit of The day Videos and tons of other videos that go up almost daily :)
I hope everyone had a Happy Holidays! I can't believe it's 2010 already! I had so many good memories this year from 2009.
Here are some:
- I turned 18. I know I know typical teenager. But 18 was really special to me. I had a Debut which is sort of like a Quince or Sweet 16 but for Filipino girls when they turn 18. It was beautiful and so many of my family and friends were able to attend it was definitely an unforgettable night. :)
- My cheer team went to Nationals. In December '08 we went to Nationals as well and went and got first place but USA Nationals is BIG. People from across the country competed and I honestly love the competitive atmosphere. I had so many fun moments with the cheerleaders this year and even though we didn't always win everything we went through to get to where we did was amazing.
- I graduated from high school. I honestly didn't enjoy high school as much as the average person. I seriously thought I could go from middle school straight to college. Personally, I didn't think my high school graduation was anything special. It doesn't take much to get a high school degree so it's not something I'm gonna brag about. Trust me, the bragging will come when I get that BSN and MSN degrees though :)
- I got into every university I applied to. To me this is a HUGE accomplishment. As most of you know the California College system has taken a lot of cuts in funds because of the budget crises which translates into accepting less students. So being accepted into a competitive college as a competitive major is a huge achievement. Although I didn't get to go to my first choice (SDSU) I'm more than happy with the school I'm attending now. I'm so happy I didn't choose to go to UCLA with the ridiculous fee increase and my lack of financial aid. Also, I just I hate some of the snobby people who go there.
- I started driving. Driving is really emancipating. Not having to worry about how you're going to get somewhere, who is going to take you and pick you up, and having to work with someone else's schedule is an amazing freedom many people take for granted. My long drives to school everyday are one of the best times for me to conteplate things and plan for the future.
- Getting a job. It's not that I've never had a job before, but I've never had a job with a strict and set schedule and not be working for family or close teachers. I met so many great people from that job. Including one of my best friends Christine. Its taught me a lot about responsibility and time management. Hopefully working in the food service industry won't be in my future for long but it's a good start.
- Participating in my first beauty pageant. I know it sounds kinda shallow, but there's so much more than the big hair and perfect makeup. The pageant I participated on was concentrated on being eco-friendly and I learned a lot about the environment. Yes, there were a lot of girls who took the pageant too seriously. Some girls had personal makeup artists, hair dressers, and costume artists with them. That's just way too much. While everyone had a full staff of people waiting on them. I did my own hair and makeup and had my best friend Skye help me time to time backstage. I even designed my own bathing suit! Through the pageant I was able to participate in so many events because of the pageant and look forward to more in the future.
- I gained and I lost friends. I know losing friends doesn't seem like a top memory but this is why I consider it one. The friends I did lose this year was because we grew out of touch or just drama. Leaving high school and not seeing the same people day after day because you have class with them really shows you who your real friends are. You're real friends are the ones who ask to hang out day after day. Do random stuff with you. Include you in their constant plans. It's much harder to maintain a "friendship" when you don't have the advantage of seeing them everyday. And drama you get. I completely rid myself of any "friends" who caused drama because seriously, that shit was so high school. And I gained friends. The girls I met at my pageant and my co-workers. I've become closer with people I've known before and become even closer with people I've met for the first time.
